2008 Rock Valley Raceway Season

 

The Grande Prairie Motocross Association was founded in 1998 as a non-profit organization. We operate a 35 acre facility located south of Grande Prairie just off of Highway 40 backing onto the south side of the Wapiti River west of Weyerhaeuser. This first class facility is leased from Forestry and excels due largely in part to volunteer effort and generous community support. Currently the GPMA holds two Peace Motocross Association races every year in conjunction with clubs from Beaverlodge, Ab., Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Taylor, B.C. Last year the PMA had over 200 members ranging in age from toddlers to grand parents. Aside from the PMA the Grande Prairie club also sells memberships to non-racers who wish to ride in a safe and secure area. As with all volunteer efforts we greatly appreciate all assistance with maintaining and operating our track and club.
